He was born January 12, 1942, in Gaston County to the late Theodore Cleveland and Cora Mae Wilson Kirby. Leon served in the National Guard and retired from Continental Tires of Charlotte after 29 years.
His great pride and joy were his granddaughters and he loved spending time with his family.
